Anyone want to get up early tomorrow and go see all the best picture nominees for free at the Arclight? I won a contest. I think the first two are Micheal Clayton and Atonement (and the only ones I'm staying for). I have very little information but if you want leave me your email and I will send you the pass. You don't even have to go with me. You can go later and try to see something else if you want. I don't give a hoot.

I hate Pep Boys. They just gave me possibly the worst service ever. Fucking scam artists. And then this under-educated, pint-sized, idiot grease monkey has the nerve to talk down to me. I went to college, fucker. Don't pretend you are doing me a FAVOR by honoring the original price quote. The only reason I'm in here at all is because you failed to complete the job eight months ago when I took my car in.

Sorry for the slightly elitist rant but I am so mad. I got my way though. I took a page out of Ashley's book and demanded to talk to the manager and refused to sign the paper until they honored what I had been told TWO days ago when my car was supposed to be done.

Shit like this makes me want to go to mechanical school so that I can't be taken advantage of.

Does anyone have a mechanic in the area that they trust?

Did you guys know that most kittens under 8 weeks old taken to shelters are put to death immediately? It's because of all time time and attention it takes to care for kittens that young. I didn't know this. We have been looking into shelters because Justin's mom found 5 kittens in her back yard and the shelter near her said if she took them in they would be killed. I am posting this for two reasons:
1. Does anyone want a kitten?
2. Did you know that some shelters, including one in Burbank, have kitten foster programs? You can foster kittens until they are 8 weeks and then the shelter will take them and try to get them adopted. This is perfect for people who love animals but maybe can't care for them long-term. You get to help socialize them and keep them alive. How good would that make you feel?

Even if this is something you are not interested in, please repost it incase you have friends who can do it.

Tix are like $15 but he has some free tix, first come, first serve. Please don't ask him to save you one unless you know for sure you are coming.

The next and last weekend of shows are the 17-20th.

It's a good show, but bring kleenex.
